The Capsule Hotel Terms and Conditions

Arrivals and Departures - New arrivals can check into their rooms after 2pm each day. Guests may arrive earlier and leave their luggage at the hotel but access to rooms will not be granted until after 2pm. Departing guests must remove all their belongings from their room, and check out, before 10am. After this time guests may be allowed to use the designated luggage storage however it’s not our responsibility to keep your items secured. Any items left in the designated area will be thrown out after 5:00pm.

Check In - We do require a valid photo identification upon check in, preferably a Passport or I.D. and a Pre-authorisation of your credit card or a deposit of $20.00 cash.

Guest Behaviour - The comfort, safety and security of our guests is of paramount importance to The Capsule Hotel. Any guest(s) who, in the opinion of our staff, compromise the comfort, safety or security of other guests, staff or local and international residents will be requested to leave the hotel premises and will not be offered a refund. In the case of groups, the group leaders must ensure that all members of their group behave in an acceptable manner. Failure of any individual group member to do so will result in the expulsion of the whole group.

Smoking - Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises nor on the footpath outside the hotel or entrance and exit doors. Any guest found smoking within the prohibited area will be asked to leave the premises immediately and will not be offered a refund.

Personal Property - Guests may leave their luggage in an area located next to reception however it remains the guest's responsibility to ensure that their personal belongings are secure at all times. Guest are only able to leave their luggage up to 9:00pm. The Capsule Hotel accepts no liability for the loss, theft or damage to property however sustained or caused.

The Capsule Hotel Property - Guests will be expected to reimburse The Capsule Hotel for any damages caused by inappropriate behaviour during their stay at The Capsule Hotel.

Key Card - Upon check in and payment of $20 key deposit. Guests will receive a key card for access to both the hotel and their capsule. Failure to return the key will result a $20 charge and or no key deposit refund will be available.

Liability - Except in relation to death caused by our negligence The Capsule Hotel liability remains, at all times, limited to the value of the services booked, excluding any amendment charges paid to us.

Errors and Omissions - Any omission or error in sales literature, web pages or site, order form, quotation, price list, order acknowledgement, despatch note, invoice or other document issued by us may be corrected by us without liability. We will advise you of any changes at the time of booking or as soon as is reasonably possible thereafter.

Discretion -All bookings are subject to availability and The Capsule Hotel reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion.

Late check-out - In the case of a late check-out (after 10:00am), The Capsule Hotel reserves the right to charge for a further night stay at the appropriate rack rate of the capsule(s) or a minimum charge of $20. All late check-out must be before mid-day (12:00pm) and management discretion will apply.
Eviction Policy
All guests must comply with any notice or warning issued verbally or posted in any area of the hotel. A breach of any hotel rule may result in the immediate eviction of the offender and/or group booking.
Challenge Procedures Enforced
In the interest of the safety of our guests’ and the security of property, the Capsule Hotel reserves the right to request, inspect and validate the photo ID of any person suspected of gaining unauthorised access to the premises. Failure to comply with the request will result in eviction and no refund is available.
Non-Paying Guests
All non-paying guests will be evicted. Additional Actions that may result in Eviction:
The Capsule Hotel reserves the right to immediately evict any guest, visitor or member of the public for any anti-social behaviour, including but not limited to:
Possession or usage of illegal drugs; Throwing objects out the hotel windows; Spitting out the windows; Wilful damage to hotel and/or guest property; Applying graffiti; Theft of any property; Sexual harassment; Loud and rowdy noise on the accommodation floors, rooms and rooftop; Physical or verbal assault or abuse of the hotel staff, other guests, customers or members of the public on hotel premises; Any behaviour deemed as a potential safety threat to others; Any breach of the Party & Alcohol Consumption Policy; Any incident for which the police are required to attend; Smoking in any part of the premises; Intentional damage to, or interference with, fire services equipment which may also lead to civil and criminal prosecution; and Reckless conduct causing alarm or the Fire Brigade to attend the property shall incur a $2,000.00 fee.
Consequences of Eviction: In the event that an eviction, of any nature occurs:
I. All money held will be forfeited; and
II. The registered guest, their associates and visitors, will not be able to make future reservations at the Capsule Hotel and will be
reported to the appropriate reporting agency or reporting tools and will be blacklisted.
III. The registered guest, their associates and visitors, will have their names recorded on a national data base of accommodation
offenders of which the Capsule Hotel may participate.
Police Intervention - The police will be called in the event that any guest or other person:
I. Commits a breach; non-adherence to the terms and conditions of the Capsule Hotel and or discretionary decision of the staff
and the Management.
II. Fails to vacate the premises after being requested to do so.
13. No Show - If you have not notified The Capsule Hotel in writing of a cancellation at least 48 hours in advance of your arrival
date. The Capsule Hotel will charge your credit card the total for your first night stay.
